Persistence with Visionary is the key

3Points is an organization founded in 2022 and that has been privately financed. Over 40 children have participated in the CAF Academy in Addis Ababa, which, in coordination with its team and partners, develops professional football players and track and field athletes.
Currently, the U17 National Championship of the Addis Ababa Cup comprises 14 teams, including squads from premier clubs. Of the four semifinalists, three are state-funded, while the 3Points team is the only privately funded team. We are extremely proud to have reached the finals of the Addis Ababa Cup in August 2024, competing against state-funded teams such as Ethiopia Electric.

As the only privately funded team, we are especially proud that our players all fall within the competition’s legal age range of 15 to 17 years, whereas competing teams have older players aged 20 to 25 years. We are proud to be able to provide this opportunity to younger talents – after all, this is the intent of the Addis Ababa Federation’s sports committee.

Our Track Record:

In the past two years, we, Tadesse Rupp and Dirk Peter—both excellently trained coaches, successful managers, and visionaries—have personally invested over $260,000 (equivalent to more than 16 million Birr) to support 40 youths in a 24/7 football camp. This private funding covers not only athletic training but also the provision of three warm meals daily, financing a private school, and covering all other needs of the players. Our conviction and commitment to Ethiopian football are unwavering.

• Partnership with the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF): A unique 10-year global partnership grants us the primary responsibility for all Ethiopian youth national teams.

• Exclusive Cooperation with VfB Stuttgart: In collaboration with this successful German Bundesliga club, we are establishing the first football academy in Africa. VfB
Stuttgart, a Champions League participant, is an expert in stadium construction, talent development, infrastructure, and all elite sports matters.

• Three-Year Cooperation Agreement between 3Points and VfB Stuttgart: Ensuring a strong foundation for long-term collaboration.

• High European and International Standards: Conceptualization, planning, and execution according to high European and international (UEFA/FIFA) standards.
